Atila Vass

Atila came from an athletic background [originally ski racing and soccer for LA’s superleague] and ended up racing mountain bikes on the California State Circuit, which led to Adventure racing. [placing 2nd western states]. On what should have been an off-weekend, he entered his first triathlon, off road, in 2006  and was hooked.  Ten years later still racing and qualified at XTERRA nationals  in 16 and 17. 

Since then, Atlia has also competed in Sprint and Olympic road tri’s, Trail Races, Ultra Marathons, Aquathons,  and Swimrun competitions. Off season he races Cyclocross (with state titles as recent as 19/20) as well as Fixie-Cross whenever races come up.  

He is happiest when pushing himself outdoors and when not on the race course he can be found Swimming, running, surfing, cycling, skiing, and climbing in his SoCal back yard and beyond.
