Sally is new to the sport of triathlon, dipping her toe in the water (literally and figuratively) just before the start of the pandemic in March 2020. She's excited to learn and soak up positive energy from the SBS coaches and athletes!
A life-long runner, she has experience racing at distances from 5K to 50K, road and trails. Trails hold a special place in her heart. The more elevation gain the better. Running, hiking, trudging - as long as it's on a trail, she's happy. Open water swimming and biking are new endeavors.
Sally is an RRCA Certified Endurance Coach and coaches regularly with South Bay Runners Club. She enjoys helping others achieve their running goals.
Sally loves reading and learning about sport, motivation, a positive mindset, and nutrition. She is always happy to recommend a good book, podcast, or vegan recipe.
