Susy has always loved being active even from a young age. She joined the Explorers at the age of 13 and completed her first multi-sport race at the age of 18. Later on in life, she found herself with a neurological condition, called CRPS, that nearly stopped her from being able to walk without discomfort and pain, let alone workout. That didn’t stop her from joining crossfit. Doing the best she could during the high intensity workouts, she found her way into the triathlon world. By this time she had completely changed her lifestyle and was able to heal herself from the pain that had initially prevented her from working out. A year after joining the team, Susy has completed three Sprints and one Olympic triathlon and her first Ironman 70.3 in May 2023.
